With great fun comes great responsibility!
Joining the GMCTB involves a significant commitment of your energy and time.
Rehearsals: Mondays, 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm.
Tech Rehearsals: Fine-tuning lighting and sound for performances during concert week.
At-Home Music Review: Expected between rehearsals. Learning tracks available.
Annual August Retreat: Includes Saturday and half of Sunday for rehearsal.
Additional Performances: Voluntary opportunities at events or local venues, aside from regular shows. Highly encouraged.
Dues: Required each season. Financial Assistance available to assist with payment plans or to reduce/offset membership costs.
Auditions
Auditions are held twice a year, in January and August, you don’t have to identify as gay, or even male, to sing with us! We only require that you are willing and able to sing a traditionally male vocal part: tenor, baritone, or bass.
Returning Members
If you have not sung with the chorus within the last year (Spring 2023 and/or Fall 2023), we ask that you go through the audition process again, primarily to let us assign you to the proper voice part.
